Dubai Hospital is a specialized hospital with numerous specialized centers that include cardiology, oncology and kidney disease. It also includes around 26 surgical and medical departments.
The major development in Dubai since the mid-1970s, and the city’s subsequent growth in population, resulted in DHA decision to build a specialized hospital in 1977. By March 1983, the Dubai Hospital began admitting patients, augmenting the medical services offered.
The number of visitors reached 250,000 during the year and the number of surgical operations reached to 10,000 operations per year.
