In the 1970’s when quality healthcare services were scarce, Dr. Sayed Jaffer S. Mohammed and Dr. Abdulla Ibrahim Al Khayat, started Medical Service center in Dubai. Their vision was to serve residents of UAE and to bring accessible and specialized healthcare and to the heart of UAE. Both graduated from Cairo University in 1970 followed by post-graduate degrees.
Dr. Sayed Jaffer S. Mohammed obtained FRCS in General Surgery from Edinburgh, UK and Dr. Abdulla Ibrahim Al-Khayat, M.D. from Cairo University in Pediatrics, & holds an FRCP from Ireland. The clinic is also supported by other Medical Staff in different specialties. Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Dental, Gynecology & Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Physiotherapy, Orthopedics, General Practice, Radiology and Laboratory to name a few specialties available at Medical Specialist Center. Today we are proud to say that MSC is equipped with latest medical technologies and team some of the most experienced doctors to deliver world class medical services to its patrons.
By the year 2001, the Clinic enlarged and transferred into a Day Care Centre, where a team of experienced Medical Staff are involved in running it in addition to other facilities like operative procedures through the Operation Theatre, 24 hrs patient’s admission services, elaborate Laboratory Services/X-ray services/Physiotherapy, 24 hour working day of the center, etc. Besides that, a Pharmacy was established at the Centre to fulfil the patients’ requirements of medicines.
