Cook Children’s Health Care System, a pediatric health care organization based in Fort Worth, Texas, launched its #erasekidcancer campaign in September 2017 that coincided with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Since then oncologists, researches, patients and families are fighting every day to find a cure. Cook Children’s shows great results, where 8 out of 10 children diagnosed will end up winning their battle. |
The Medical Centre is focusing on making the global community more aware of the way pediatric cancer affect families that are going through this painful moment. Doctors says trials like these helps to move the needle towards cures. People from all over the world that would like to participate and join the fight can support life-saving researches with two easy steps:
1. Make a donation: https://giving.cookchildrens.org/EraseKidCancer.aspx or; 2. Purchase an “erasekidcancer” t-shirt at: https://www.customink.com/fundraising/erasekidcancer Says Executive Director International Patient Services, Cynthia Gonzalez at Cook Children’s Health Care System: “As our campaign saying goes, if we had one wish it would be that no child would ever suffer from cancer. That’s why we’re asking everyone to join forces with Cook Children’s oncologists, researchers, patients and families to help make that wish come true. The funds will help the team of experts to create quality research and develop new treatments and technology to fight cancer especially for children.” |
The funds raised during September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, will support life-saving research, treatments, technology and programs for patients and families within the Cook Children’s Health Care System. |
