Thrive Wellbeing Centre has appointed its first psychiatrist. Dr. IoannisDelipalas, who joined the centre on 28th October 2020 is a Swedish Board-certified Consultant in adult psychiatry with more than 15 years’experience, having worked in two of the most prestigious hospitals in Scandinavia, as well as more recently in Dubai.
The start of a new psychiatry unit, and the addition of this new medical director means that Thrive can now offer support to a broader spectrum of psychological and psychiatric conditions across all age ranges. Dr. Delipalas brings the addition of Swedish to Thrive too, meaning a total of 11languages are spoken at Thrive Wellbeing Centre.
“Mental Health is undeniably one of the biggest fall-outs of COVID-19, many are suffering from the complexities the pandemic has imposed on their lives and multiple support forms are required. With Dr. Delipalas joining us we can now support our client base even further, by offering all mental health services in-house,” said Dr. Sarah Rasmi, founder and managing director of Thrive Wellbeing Centre.
